Double Decker! Doug & Kirill

Lisvalletta lives beneath two suns and appears peaceful on the surface, but the dangerous drug Anthem drives crimes by granting users lethal bursts of enhanced ability. The SEVEN-O Special Crime Investigation Unit handles these cases through a system that pairs officers into two-person teams.

Doug Billingham is a quiet, experienced investigator who knows when to wait, while his new partner Kirill Vrubel dreams of flashy heroics and tends to leap into situations before understanding them. Their mismatch makes cooperation exhausting, yet may be exactly what the unit needs. As they pursue Anthem users and the organization behind the drug, Kirill learns that genuine police work is far less glamorous than the heroic image he built in his head.
