Keiki Kiryuu and the girls surrounding him appear in brief school-day situations where ordinary conversation exposes another eccentric side of their affection. Sayuki, Yuika, Mao, Mizuha, and the others approach romance with assumptions that make Keiki's search for a normal confession increasingly unrealistic.

Small questions about preferences, gifts, and private behavior become playful traps for the only boy trying to remain sensible. The more Keiki asks for clarity, the more confidently each girl demonstrates that her idea of love follows rules of its own.
