Clannad

Tomoya Okazaki has already decided that his final year of high school is not worth caring about. He skips classes, clashes with his father, and expects the dull town around him to offer nothing new. On the walk to school one morning, he meets Nagisa Furukawa, a quiet girl repeating her senior year after a long illness and trying to find the courage to return to a school where most of her old friends have graduated.

Nagisa wants to revive the abandoned drama club, and Tomoya, claiming he has nothing better to do, begins helping her. That small decision draws him into the lives of classmates carrying their own loneliness, family troubles, and impossible wishes. As he helps them move forward, the town Tomoya hated starts filling with people he does not want to lose.
