Orient

For 150 years the people of Hinomoto have lived under demons many worship as liberators, while samurai are treated as enemies. Musashi has known since childhood that this story is a lie, and he once promised Kojiro that the two would become warriors who fight the demons. Social pressure pushed Kojiro away from that dream, while Musashi hid a sword inside a pickaxe and waited for a chance to use it. On graduation day he discovers the miners who served the demons were little more than food for them and encounters a Bushi band still resisting. He and Kojiro set out to forge their own path, learning that defeating an enemy worshipped by society requires more than courage; it demands enchanted blades and companions capable of combining their strength.
