Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru

Wakana Gojo devotes himself to crafting traditional hina dolls but hides that passion because childhood ridicule convinced him other people would never understand it. His classmate Marin Kitagawa discovers his sewing skill and surprises him by treating it as impressive rather than embarrassing. Marin loves cosplay but cannot create the detailed costumes she imagines, so the two begin a project combining Gojo's precision with her enthusiasm. Measurements, fabric, makeup, wigs, and photography reveal an entire world he never knew, while Marin's openness pulls him beyond the doll workshop. Each new costume brings them closer, yet understanding the feelings growing between two real people proves far more difficult than perfecting any detail of a fictional character's clothes.
