Raku loses an important object, then joins Chitoge, Kosaki, Marika, and the others in helping at a shrine where they become convinced that a curse is following him. Another day reveals Marika secretly working at a restaurant, while an unfamiliar sweet at Raku's New Year gathering causes Chitoge's behavior to change dramatically.

When the Ichijou bath breaks, a visit to the public bath places Raku amid another impossible coincidence. A mountain hot-spring trip creates one final clothing disaster, ensuring that every attempt at relaxation becomes a fresh source of romantic misunderstanding.
