ReLIFE

At 27, Arata Kaizaki is unemployed, drifting, and carrying the damage left by his first job. A representative from the ReLIFE Research Institute offers him an unusual experiment: take a pill that makes him look 17 again, return to high school for one year, and let the program evaluate whether the experience can help him rebuild his adult life.

Arata assumes being mentally older will make school easy. Instead, he fails modern tests, cannot keep up physically, and discovers that teenage problems are no less serious simply because he has already survived adulthood. As he becomes involved with classmates facing isolation, rivalry, and uncertain futures, the experiment stops feeling like an artificial second chance. Helping them forces Arata to confront the choices and workplace trauma that made him give up on himself.
