Zankyou no Terror

Six months after an attack on a nuclear facility leaves only the word "VON" behind, two teenagers calling themselves Sphinx upload a video announcing that Tokyo will soon face another explosion. They do not simply hide bombs; they give the police riddles and invite the entire country to watch the chase. Detective Kenjirou Shibazaki begins recognizing a purpose beneath the spectacle that does not fit ordinary terrorism.

The boys behind Sphinx, known as Nine and Twelve, carry a past the authorities would rather keep buried. Their careful plan is complicated when isolated schoolgirl Lisa Mishima crosses into their lives and becomes entangled in crimes she barely understands. Each new riddle pushes Tokyo closer to panic while forcing the question Sphinx actually wants answered: who will finally listen to what happened to them?
