Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199: Hoshimeguru Hakobune

On its return journey from Iscandar, Yamato carries the Cosmo Reverse System that may finally restore the devastated Earth. Near the Large Magellanic Cloud, however, the ship encounters a Gatlantis expedition led by Goran Dagarm, who demands that Yamato surrender. Captain Okita refuses, and a terrifying space-transcending weapon forces the crew into a desperate escape.

The retreat strands Yamato inside a strange, colorful dimension containing an apparently impossible planet. Kodai and a small landing party descend to investigate and discover a mystery tied not only to their own voyage, but also to Dagarm's pursuit. As Gatlantis closes in, enemies who should have nothing in common may be forced to face the same unknown threat.
