Konchuu Monogatari Minashigo Hutch (1989)

Hutch, a young honeybee separated from his mother when his hive is attacked, sets out across the insect world to find her. Every new place introduces creatures with different ways of surviving, and Hutch's kindness often draws him into their troubles even when continuing the search would be safer.

The road is filled with predators, loss, friendship, and brief moments of happiness. Though the world can be harsh to a small insect traveling alone, Hutch refuses to give up the belief that his mother is still somewhere ahead, and each encounter teaches him how courage and compassion can survive alongside danger.
