Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer

Tomobiki is preparing feverishly for its school festival, and everyone expects the big day to arrive tomorrow. Yet the same evening seems to repeat, the city grows increasingly empty, and small inconsistencies suggest that time itself has stopped moving normally.

Ataru, Lum, Mendou, Shinobu, and their friends gradually realize they may be trapped inside a dream shaped by someone's deepest desire. As familiar streets turn into an isolated world where consequences seem to disappear, they must decide whether perfect happiness is worth accepting if it means surrendering reality and the future beyond it.
