Hokuto no Ken

After nuclear war reduces civilization to a lawless wasteland, Kenshirou wanders from settlement to settlement carrying the deadly art of Hokuto Shinken. His first goal is deeply personal: find Shin, the Nanto fighter who scarred his chest and took Yuria from him. Along the way, however, Kenshirou cannot ignore the raiders and tyrants who prey on people too weak to resist.

Each victory draws him into larger conflicts with formidable martial artists, rival schools, and figures tied to his own past. As grief and responsibility accumulate around him, the solitary fighter becomes a symbol of hope in a world where compassion can be as rare as water.
