Prima Doll

Years after a long war, the Imperial Capital is trying to remember how peace works. At the Black Cat Café, several Automata once built for military service now wear elegant kimonos, serve customers, and search for ordinary purposes their weapons were never designed to understand.

The newest among them is Haizakura, a recently restored mechanical doll whose memories were lost during a reset. She cannot remember what role she once played, but she discovers that singing comes naturally to her and that her voice can reach people in ways combat never could. As Haizakura grows close to the other Automata, pieces of wartime history keep intruding on their quiet café life. Learning to live after the battlefield means deciding whether the past defines what they were made for, or whether they can choose something gentler for themselves.
