Maison Ikkoku: Shiki Utsuriyuku Kisetsu no Naka de

Yuusaku Godai arrives at Maison Ikkoku as a struggling student and quickly falls for its new manager, Kyoko Otonashi. Kyoko is a young widow still bound to the memory of her late husband, while Godai is poor, uncertain, and constantly sabotaged by the eccentric tenants who treat his private life as public entertainment.

Across changing seasons, missed chances, rival suitors, jealousy, and years of gradual maturity, Godai's affection grows from an impulsive crush into something he is willing to build a future around. Kyoko, meanwhile, must decide whether moving forward means betraying the love she lost or finally allowing herself to love again.
