Kimi wa Houkago Insomnia

Ganta Nakami spends most nights unable to sleep and most school days exhausted, irritable, and searching for somewhere quiet to close his eyes. He discovers the perfect hiding place in the abandoned astronomy-club observatory, only to find classmate Isaki Magari already using it for exactly the same reason. She also lives with insomnia, though almost no one at school knows.

Rather than compete for the room, they begin sharing it. When their secret refuge is threatened, reviving the astronomy club gives them a legitimate reason to stay and turns sleepless nights into photography trips, stargazing, and conversations that come more easily in darkness. Their insomnia does not disappear, but loneliness begins to. As Ganta and Isaki grow closer, the observatory becomes a place where two people who cannot rest anywhere else finally feel safe enough to breathe.
