Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei Specials

A nameless university student joins Higuchi, Akashi, Ozu, and Hanuki in telling increasingly impossible stories about a submarine capable of traveling across land. Each narrator tries to surpass the previous tale, sending the vessel from an attempt to stop melting ice to a campaign against voyeurs and an expedition devoted entirely to fishing.

Facts matter less with every retelling, and the friends' competitive imagination reveals as much about them as the adventures they invent.
