Oide yo Mahou Shoujo Mura (Fuhou Senkyo)

Tomakomai is a 43-year-old office worker whose miserable job somehow leaves her transformed into a magical girl, but nothing about her new life resembles a sparkling heroic fantasy. She settles in Magical Girl Village, an illegally occupied community populated by adults who seem to have been damaged by life far more than they have been saved by magic.

There she meets Nemuro, Seikou, and other magical girls with terrible habits and even worse coping mechanisms, quickly learning that monsters are not always the biggest problem. Between drinking, poverty, and everyday disasters, the group keeps going in its own ridiculous way, turning despair into a form of comedy no conventional magical-girl tale would dare to promise.
