Zhao Lin de Tanxian Riji

Zhao Lin leaves familiar territory and heads alone toward China's western regions in search of her missing father. The notebook he left behind becomes her guide, but its clues point beyond a simple disappearance and toward traces of a forgotten ancient kingdom.

Along the way she meets Peng Fei and Meng Meng, a boy who has unexpectedly been transformed into a wolf cub. The three are each searching for family, and their paths become intertwined as they solve puzzles, evade people pursuing the same secrets, and follow the mystery surrounding the ancient “Book of Life.”
