Fushigi Yuugi: Eikouden

Years of hardship are finally behind Miaka Yuuki and Taka Sukunami: they are married and expecting their first child. Their happiness, however, becomes unbearable to Mayo Sakaki, one of Taka's students, who is secretly in love with him. When Mayo discovers The Universe of the Four Gods, she enters the book hoping to replace Miaka as Suzaku's priestess and rewrite Taka's past in her favor.

The consequences reach the real world almost immediately. Miaka collapses, and Taka follows Mayo into a changed and unstable world of the book to stop her. With Miaka and their unborn child in danger, the old bond between priestess and Celestial Warriors is forced into one final crisis born not from an ancient enemy, but from jealousy and a desperate wish to steal someone else's life.
