Yuusuke Yotsuya's detached school life is shattered when he is suddenly transported to another world alongside classmates Iu Shindou and Kusue Hakozaki. A mysterious Game Master gives them roles, sends them on lethal quests and makes one rule brutally clear: the team must succeed before the timer expires.

Yuusuke receives the seemingly useless Farmer class, yet his cold practicality repeatedly keeps the group alive as new companion Yuka Tokitate joins their missions. Each return to the other world forces them to confront monsters, human conflict and the uncomfortable question of how much another person's life should weigh when failure could cost millions.
