Synopsis

A strange rumor spreads through Kasukabe: people are being replaced by copies that look exactly like them but behave just a little too perfectly. Shinnosuke and the Kasukabe Defense Force soon realize the substitutions are real, and the cheerful samba music echoing through town is connected to something much more unsettling.

Biotechnology expert Amigo Suzuki is manufacturing human duplicates from a bizarre konjac-based material as part of his plan to transform the world through samba. With the mysterious Jacqueline Feeney helping them stay ahead of the replacements, the Nohara family must escape a city where anyone they know could already be a clone.
