Inu ni Nattara Suki na Hito ni Hirowareta.

A high school boy wakes one rainy day to find himself lying in the street, only to be rescued by Karen Inukai, the classmate he secretly loves. There is one enormous problem: he is no longer human. He has somehow become a small dog, and Karen does not recognize him, taking him home and naming him Pochita instead.

Trapped in a body that cannot speak, Pochita tries to discover why he changed and how he can become human again. At the same time, he sees a side of the cool, reserved Karen that no classmate ever gets to witness. She is intensely affectionate toward her new dog, creating one embarrassing situation after another for the boy who once knew her only from a safe distance.
