Scarlet Nexus

In 2020, grotesque creatures called Others begin falling from the sky and hunting humans for their brains. Humanity answers with the Other Suppression Force, an elite military unit made up of people whose psionic abilities can stand against them. Yuito Sumeragi joins after being saved by an OSF soldier as a child, while the gifted Kasane Randall enters as one of the force's most promising recruits. Their first missions should mark the beginning of distinguished careers, but strange dreams, hidden experiments, and contradictory orders quickly suggest that the Others are only part of the danger. As Yuito and Kasane are pulled toward opposing truths, the system they trusted begins to fracture around them.
