Eternal Boys

When his company goes bankrupt, forty-something Kentarou Sanada finds himself unemployed and sending applications anywhere that might offer a new start. He walks into what he thinks is an ordinary job interview, only to discover it is an idol audition. Even more surprisingly, he is accepted alongside five other middle-aged men to form a new group called Eternal Boys.

The men do not have the youth or industry experience of their competition, but each brings a full adult life of successes, failures, and responsibilities to the stage. Singing, dancing, and performing for audiences much younger than themselves becomes a chance to prove that a new beginning does not belong to any particular age, and that a dream can arrive late without becoming less meaningful.
