Mako Satou has earned a fearsome reputation on Mount Usui as one half of Impact Blue, but street racing no longer feels like enough. Determined to test the limits of her talent, she begins considering the difficult step toward becoming a professional driver and the changes that choice would demand.

Just as Mako prepares to leave her old life behind, she unexpectedly reconnects with a former boyfriend. The possibility of reviving that relationship shakes a resolve she thought was firm, forcing her to choose between a familiar kind of happiness and the racing dream that has finally become her own.
