Tennis no Oujisama

Tennis prodigy Ryoma Echizen returns to Japan after years in the United States and enrolls at Seishun Academy, home to one of the country's strongest middle-school teams. Though only a first-year student, his skill is impossible to ignore, and he quickly earns the chance to challenge older players for a place in the regular lineup. Ryoma has already collected titles, but victories alone have never freed him from the shadow of his father, a former professional whose tennis still seems beyond reach. Surrounded by teammates with distinct styles and ambitions, Ryoma enters increasingly fierce tournaments where finding his own game may prove more important than simply defeating the opponent across the net.
