Puraore! Pride of Orange

Manaka Mizusawa has never thought much about ice hockey until a trial class run by the local Dream Monkeys puts her on skates. She convinces her younger sister Ayaka and friends Kaoruko and Mami to join, where they meet Riko and Naomi and discover how thrilling the sport can be when everyone is moving toward the same goal. What begins as curiosity grows into a desire to compete seriously. The girls are still beginners, but hockey demands speed, courage, teamwork, and the willingness to collide head-on with stronger opponents. As they build a team and chase a place on the ice, each of them must decide how much of herself she is ready to give to a sport that has suddenly become important.
