Deep Insanity: The Lost Child

Millions have fallen into an unexplained coma known as Randolph Syndrome, and every clue points toward Asylum, an enormous underground world discovered beneath Antarctica. Its depths contain unfamiliar creatures and valuable resources, drawing governments, corporations, and adventurers willing to gamble their lives for profit or answers. Daniel Kai Shigure has a different reason to descend. Immune to the illness and determined to find a cure, he joins the dangerous expeditions probing Asylum's front line. The deeper the teams travel, however, the less the place resembles a simple source of disease. Strange organisms, competing agendas, and secrets buried below the ice turn the search for a medical answer into a struggle over what humanity is willing to unleash.
