Shenmue the Animation

In 1985 Yokosuka, Ryo Hazuki has spent his life training martial arts under his strict father, Iwao. One evening, a mysterious man named Lan Di enters the family dojo, defeats Iwao, demands an ancient mirror, and kills him before Ryo's eyes. Refusing to accept a murder without answers, Ryo begins questioning sailors, gang members, shopkeepers, and anyone who might connect Lan Di to the mirror. Each clue pulls him deeper into criminal organizations and a history his father never shared. The trail eventually leads beyond Japan toward Hong Kong, turning Ryo's search for revenge into a journey that will test how much he understands about his family, martial arts, and the forces surrounding the mirrors.
