Grappler Baki (TV)

Baki Hanma has been raised with one purpose: become strong enough to surpass his father Yuujirou, the man feared as the strongest creature alive. His mother Emi pours her ambitions into his training, but Baki eventually realizes that the path laid out for him will never be enough to reach the monster he is chasing.

He leaves conventional training behind and begins seeking opponents who can force him past his limits. Street fighters, martial artists, soldiers, and champions each expose another weakness and another lesson. As Baki's body grows stronger, his battles also reshape his understanding of courage, rivalry, and the complicated love and hatred tying him to the father he intends to defeat.
