Milky☆Highway

Somewhere along the Milky Highway, cyborg Makina and superhuman Chiharu decide that the best way to spend a free weekend is simply to go for a drive. In their hands, however, a casual road trip through space has almost no chance of remaining casual.

The two friends speed from one strange encounter to the next, treating danger, traffic, and interplanetary absurdity with the same reckless energy they bring to everything else. There is no grand mission waiting at the end of the road; the fun comes from watching two troublesome travelers turn an ordinary drive into a fast, chaotic slice of life in a very cheap-looking corner of the future.
