Bright: Samurai Soul

As the Tokugawa shogunate collapses and Japan moves toward the Meiji era, a powerful wand becomes the center of a struggle that could spill far more blood into an already violent transition. Izou is a one-eyed ronin who has lost his purpose; Raiden is an orc trying to leave a life of theft and killing behind. Their paths meet through Sonya, a young elf carrying the wand north toward the land of her people. Protecting her forces the two fugitives onto the Tokaido road, pursued by enemies who understand the artifact's power. Human, orc, and elf have little reason to trust one another, but reaching safety will require them to become the family none of them expected to find.
