Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Bakuen wo!

In the Crimson Demon Village, Megumin grows up convinced that the greatest magic in existence is Explosion, the overwhelming spell that once saved her life even though it consumes all of its user's energy in a single cast. She enters the Red Prison academy alongside Yunyun, her childhood friend and self-declared rival, but while everyone else studies practical and varied magic, Megumin refuses to invest in anything except Explosion.

Her days become stranger when her little sister finds a black cat they name Chomusuke, unaware that the animal is connected to a dangerous secret capable of awakening a dark god. Between classes, monsters, and the Crimson Demons' endless theatrics, Megumin follows the path that will one day make her the wizard devoted to one spectacular spell and nothing else.
