Lupin III: Pilot Film

Arsène Lupin III announces himself to Inspector Zenigata with a taunting phone call and immediately turns the detective's attempt to trace him into another elaborate joke. The chase soon brings Lupin, Jigen, and Fujiko into a crumbling mansion where Zenigata believes he has finally cornered his elusive target.

Gunfire, traps, disguises, flirtation, and impossible escapes follow in quick succession, introducing a thief whose greatest pleasure may be proving that even the most determined pursuer is always one step behind.
