Shiro Seijo to Kuro Bokushi

At a small church on a hill, Pastor Lawrence looks after Cecilia, the saint whom the townspeople visit for guidance and protection. In public, Cecilia is graceful and dignified. The moment everyone leaves, however, that composure vanishes and she becomes a sleepy, helpless homebody who relies on Lawrence for nearly everything. What Lawrence fails to notice is that Cecilia is deeply in love with him. He treats every obvious sign of affection as ordinary kindness, leaving her to struggle with an impossibly oblivious pastor. Through errands, quiet meals, and everyday church life, their comfortable bond keeps growing even as the feeling behind it remains comically one-sided in plain sight.
