Prince Denka and the royal family of tiny Planet Ume lose their home and travel across space until they reach Earth. There, their extraordinary arrival brings them into the household of an ordinary boy, Taro, whose everyday life suddenly has to make room for an entire family of extraterrestrial royalty.

Denka's strange abilities and royal habits repeatedly collide with life on Earth, turning simple situations into cosmic confusion. Yet beneath the commotion, his friendship with Taro becomes a bridge between two very different worlds.
