West of Tempest lies the small kingdom of Raja, a land whose survival depends on the mysterious power of its queen. When Rimuru Tempest and his companions become involved in a crisis there, Benimaru encounters someone he never expected to see: Hiiro, another survivor of the ogre village destroyed years earlier and a man he once regarded as an older brother. Hiiro now serves Raja and is willing to risk everything for its queen, but the power sustaining the country is tied to a conspiracy that has been unfolding for years. Rimuru wants to help without turning Raja into another battlefield, while Benimaru must confront a bond from before Tempest existed and decide how to save someone who may already be trapped by his loyalty.
