After the legendary detective Siesta’s death, Kimihiko Kimizuka thought the extraordinary life he shared with her was over, but the past refuses to stay buried. Beside him now is Nagisa Natsunagi, the girl who carries Siesta’s heart, and with her come new cases and threats tied to enemies the detective once faced.

Each mystery reveals another piece of Kimihiko’s years as Siesta’s assistant and makes the boundary between her death and her legacy harder to define. As he and his companions try to move forward, Siesta’s old choices continue pulling them toward unfinished truths, as though the detective who is already dead is still arranging the next case from somewhere none of them can reach.
