Showtime! Uta no Oneesan datte Shitai

Shouji Fujimoto is a widowed father trying to raise his daughter while pursuing his dream of becoming a picture-book author. Through an unexpected meeting outside work, he recognizes Minami Takasaki, the beloved singing host of a children's television program. Away from the cheerful image seen on screen, Minami lives under strict rules that forbid romance and make any scandal a threat to her career. Shouji sees the lonely woman behind the public persona, while Minami finds in him and his daughter a warmth missing from her tightly managed life. Their attraction grows in private, but every step closer carries a risk: the relationship that makes Minami feel most like herself is exactly the one she has been told she cannot have.
