Yamada-kun to Lv999 no Koi wo Suru

Akane Kinoshita is trying to get over a painful breakup, but the online game she once shared with her boyfriend keeps dragging old memories back into view. At an in-person event, she runs into Akito Yamada, a legendary player from her guild whose blunt manner and complete lack of interest in romance make him the last person she expects to lean on.

What begins with an awkward revenge scheme turns into repeated encounters both online and off. Sociable Akane and reserved Yamada seem badly matched, yet each meeting reveals something the other had overlooked. As one heart slowly heals and the other begins to understand feelings he has never paid much attention to, their casual connection starts leveling into something neither of them planned.
