Shy

Large-scale wars faded after superpowered heroes appeared across the world, each representing a nation and protecting its people. Japan's hero is fourteen-year-old Teru Momijiyama, better known as Shy. She has the strength to save lives, but standing in front of people and carrying their expectations can frighten her more than danger itself.

Teru constantly questions whether she deserves to be called a hero, yet she cannot ignore someone in need. When a mysterious enemy begins manipulating human hearts and turning emotional pain into a weapon, Shy must work alongside heroes from other countries. Every confrontation tests more than her power, forcing her to understand other people's feelings while confronting her own fear that she may not be able to reach them.
