Tabi Hani: Kyoto-hen

During their first summer of high school, quiet Akari travels to Kyoto with Nagi, who treats every street, temple, meal, and unexpected stop as a reason to explore. Akari wants to reach one particular destination quickly. The trip is tied to the older sister who taught her to love travel, and after that loss it has become closer to an emotional duty than a vacation. Nagi keeps pulling her into small detours, and with each one Akari slowly rediscovers the pleasure of seeing an unfamiliar place with someone else. By the time she reaches the destination that brought her to Kyoto, the road itself has created memories she did not know she needed.
