Gyakkyou Burai Kaiji: Hakairoku-hen

Kaiji Itou's gambling losses leave him with nearly ten million yen in debt to the Teiai Group. His attempt to find another chance at salvation ends with him dragged into an underground forced-labor camp, where fifteen years of brutal work await unless he can somehow buy a precious one-day pass back to the surface.

Even underground, gambling offers both poison and escape. Kaiji joins fellow debtors against a cheating foreman in a deadly game of chinchirorin, then stakes everything on reaching the outside world. There he discovers the Bog, a monstrous pachinko machine controlled by Teiai, and begins engineering an audacious attempt to beat a game designed never to lose.
