Thermae Romae Specials

Lucius continues stumbling into bathing mysteries that blur the line between ancient Rome and modern Japan. Whether confronting an alluring lighthouse, an apparent murder involving three office workers, a desperate desire for smoother skin, or the simple wish to slide as freely as possible, his Roman seriousness collides with ideas far outside his time.

Each strange encounter gives Lucius another opportunity to reinterpret unfamiliar customs through the eyes of a bath architect, producing solutions that are ingenious, absurd, or both.
