Dai Yamato Zero-gou

In the year 3199, an overwhelming enemy from a neighboring galaxy tears through the Milky Way Alliance and reduces its defenses to a handful of surviving fleets. With the Alliance headquarters destroyed and entire star nations facing collapse, organized resistance is nearly finished.

Then the massive battleship Great Yamato Zero enters the war. Its crew sets out to rally the remaining forces and confront an enemy that has already defeated almost everything the galaxy could send against it, turning one ship into the center of a desperate last stand for the Milky Way.
