Snowball Earth

Tetsuo Yabusame once fought alongside the giant robot Yukio to defend Earth from monsters arriving from beyond the galaxy. Their final battle ended in defeat. Yukio was destroyed, and Tetsuo escaped alone before falling into cold sleep.

Eight years later, his pod returns him to Earth, but the planet is almost unrecognizable: cities lie beneath snow, the land is sealed under ice, and humanity seems to have vanished. With Yukio gone and no one waiting for him, Tetsuo begins searching the frozen world for answers. He wants to know what happened during his absence, but even more, he wants to fulfill the final promise he made to his only companion: find a friend.
