Haru, the miko of the Genbu divine beast Kou, remains captive in the hands of the qilin Moetao. Kou can no longer ignore the bond between them, and Kotone, Nagi, and their companions join the effort to rescue Haru and strike back at the one keeping the pair apart.

As the Genbu conflict reaches its turning point, feelings that have long been restrained begin to surface. Kotone's sharp knowledge of romance may help him read everyone else, but his own relationship with Nagi remains just as capable of turning every serious moment into intimate chaos.
