Kerokko Demetan

Demetan is a poor young frog growing up in Rainbow Pond, where status determines who receives respect and who is pushed aside. Though his family has little and he cannot attend school like the wealthy children, Demetan finds a loyal friend in Ranatan, the kind daughter of the pond's powerful ruler.

Ranatan's father strongly opposes their friendship, but the two young frogs refuse to let prejudice decide whom they may care about. Through hardship, courage, and repeated acts of kindness, Demetan gradually challenges the cruelty around him and inspires the pond's residents to imagine a fairer life together.
