Bullbuster

Young engineer Tetsurou Okino joins the tiny Hato Industries with his newly developed robot Bullbuster, excited to use it against mysterious giant creatures threatening an abandoned island. He expects heroic mechanical battles and quickly discovers the enemy every small company fears just as much: the budget.

Every round of ammunition, liter of fuel, and hour of labor has a cost that must be recorded, while damaging a building during a monster chase can become a financial disaster of its own. Tetsurou, company president Tajima, and the rest of the team have to protect the area from the Kyojuu without bankrupting themselves. Between engineering ambition and practical accounting, they learn that operating a giant robot requires expense reports almost as much as courage.
