Ano Natsu de Matteru

Kaito Kirishima sees a strange light in the sky while testing his camera, then wakes in his bed the next morning with no clear idea how he returned or why he survived what should have been a serious accident. Soon afterward, transfer student Ichika Takatsuki arrives at his school and quickly catches his attention.

Kaito and his friends decide to make a film during summer vacation, with Ichika joining the project as the group spends its days filming, traveling, and avoiding confessions they are afraid to make. Ichika, however, is hiding the real reason she came, and the light Kaito saw was no coincidence. As feelings shift inside the group, summer moves toward an ending that may force some of them to speak before there is no time left.
